Uplift Center for Grieving Children helps children grieving a death to heal and grow through their grief while strengthening families, communities, and professionals’ understanding of how best to respond to their needs. Uplift offers grief groups in six locations throughout Philadelphia as well as in schools and in community groups, directly serving over 1,500 youth every year. Uplift also provides immediate assistance to schools in the aftermath of a student or teacher death and trains over 1,000 professionals annually on how to best work with grieving children.
